Fluted Butter Bell

To use a French butter bell, pack softened butter into the lid, fill the base with cold water and a sprinkle of salt then invert the lid into the base. This creates an airtight seal, keeping the butter fresh without refrigeration. Simply replace the water every few days to maintain freshness.

Dimensions: 3 3/4" wide x 3 1/4" tall. Holds apprximately 1 cup of butter.

While this piece is oven, microwave and dishwasher safe, hand washing is preferred as the edges are susceptible to chipping if they are knocked around. Take care as each one is hand made and truly one of a kind. As always, Made With Love.
